The first Hindu woman to be elected in Pakistan is Savera Parkash.
Savera, a physician by trade, is fighting from Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Bunera district. He is running for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the PK-25 constituency. Savera is already connected to the political world. She is the PPP's Bunera District Women's Wing General Secretary.
Om Parkash, Savera's father and a recently retired physician, is an active PPP politician. He has spent thirty-five years on the team. Savera claimed that he pursued a career in politics, following in his father's footsteps. Her goal is to contribute to the growth of the area, particularly for women. because the development industry still requires women to be "humiliated." He stated that his father was asked to run for office by the party's upper echelons.
In 2022, Savera graduated with her MBBS from Abbottabad International Medical College. Last Friday, he submitted his nomination documents. The situation was made public to the media on Monday.
Salim Khan, a prominent local politician and Qaumi Watan Party member, stated that Savera is the first woman from the Bunera district to run for office in the general elections.
It is important to remember that Pakistan's general elections are set for February 8. In a recent modification, the General Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) required that five percent of candidates running for general seats be women.
